Reserve Officer Training Corps

The University of Kansas is one of only about 50 U.S. universities with a full offering of Army, Air Force, and Naval ROTC programs. All ROTC programs offer scholarships that pay tuition and fees, furnish books and uniforms, and provide a monthly living allowance.

On successful completion of requirements and graduation from KU, Army or Air Force ROTC cadets are commissioned as Army or Air Force Second Lieutenants, and Naval ROTC Midshipmen are commissioned either as Ensigns in the Navy or as Second Lieutenants in the Marine Corps.
