Biography

Mrs. Peare was born and raised in Riley, Kansas and is a first-generation college graduate. She attended Texas A&M University-Central Texas, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and the University of California, graduating in 2014 with a Master of Social Work, concentration in Mental Health and sub-concentration in Military and Veterans Social Work. Mrs. Peare is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor. Currently, she is a Clinical Social Work with the Department of Behavioral Health at Fort Leavenworth where she lives with her husband. She provides psychotherapy for active-duty Service Members and Veterans with a host of psychological and physical issues, including deployment, combat readiness, military sexual trauma, and chronic pain. Concurrent with her employment Mrs. Peare will be attending the University of Kansas pursuing a Doctor of Social Work and is projected to graduate in the Summer of 2026. Mrs. Peare’s husband served in the Army for 32 years before retiring in 2018. As a Military Spouse she has dedicated thousands of volunteer hours in areas that had significant impacts on Service Members and their families in the various geographic locations the Army sent her husband.
